Drop-In Day

The Parish Plan Committee arranged a Drop-In Day on Saturday, 17th January 2004 in Danbury Village Hall from 10am to 4pm.

The event was held to allow the people of Danbury to come and see how the information they have provided has been collated into the draft Parish Plan Report to the Parish Council; thus enabling them to see for themselves the work that has been going on behind the scenes on their behalf. Those attending also had the opportunity to make comments on the draft documents before they are published.

The event was set up by the Danbury Parish Plan Team with thanks to Michelle Pye of the RCCE for her help and the loan of their folding display boards. Doors opened at 10 AM and the first residents burst in eager to see what was going on. They were a bit overwhelmed by the mass of information on display.
